As the Director of Medical Communications, I am the newest member to join the team of dedicated and talented individuals at Hartford Walking Systems.

I am a board certified radiologist with more than 30 years of clinical experience in the field of medical imaging.

It is my responsibility to see that all of our communications are clear, concise and understandable. The design team is constantly working to improve the ED LegSim as well as expand its uses to benefit other groups of patients. We are committed to you: our prospective patients, healthcare providers, physical therapists and prosthetists.

I will also be writing articles for HWS underscoring the major medical complications experienced by individuals with amputations including degenerative arthritis, obesity and elevated blood cholesterol levels. The first of these will be appearing soon on our website.

The team has made great strides with national insurance carriers including TRICARE which now will cover the cost of the LegSim. This further increases the availability and accessibility to patients throughout the country. In coming months we hope to have our message reach other insurance carriers so that their patients too may benefit from our device.
