How it Works

Understanding how the ED Legsim works, its ease-of-use, and its ability to minimize shoulder, arm, and back strain can be illustrated by a simple example:

In the case of a 200 pound male, with crutches his weight is equally distributed, placing 100 pounds of force on each arm as he bears down on them moving forward. Actually, he applies more than 100 pounds since he must push against the crutches to advance.

The ED Legsim weighs approximately six pounds. This same man lifts the device slightly by the handgrips, causing its leg and foot assembly to automatically pivot forward, beginning the next stride.

Here, the exertion is a mere three pounds per arm as opposed to 100 with crutches. Elimination of shoulder stress, underarm irritation, and clenched arms and hands is accomplished by using a lifting rather than leaning motion.

Multiplied by hundreds of occurrences daily, the comparison of accumulated exertion between the two devices is readily appreciated.
